I am the founder and publisher of Modern Odyssey Books. ​

Modern Odyssey Books is the publishing home for original, curated, and collaborative works that I develop. My own work crosses forms — monographs on organizational life, essays, poetry, and fiction. The throughline across all of it is simple: people are complicated, organizations are made of people, and the stories we tell, old and new, are how we make sense of both.

Beyond my original writing, Modern Odyssey Books curates and combines works of classic literature into new anthologies and produces a series of literature-inspired puzzle books.​

I work privately with people who have an important idea, a body of knowledge, or an aspect of their lives they want to give lasting form. As thinking partner and co-writer, I help find the book within the material and shape it into a finished work.

 

Modern Odyssey Books also develops selected literary and intellectual projects with the support of individuals, companies, foundations, and other partners. Much like the patrons of an exhibition, sponsors help bring particular works or series into being and extend their reach.
